EMOND, MacDonald Paul

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of MacDonald Paul Emond on July 11, 2016. He was in his 77th year. Loving husband of Elaine (Foubert) for 54 years and the caring father of Wendy (Richard) Ducharme, Rhonda (Tony D'Agostino) and Tracie (Brian) Galan. He treasured his grandchildren, Sarah-Jane (Shawn), Kierra (Adil), Emily-Ann (Scott), Laura-Jean, KassaMarie and Elaine, as well as two step-grandchildren Brianne and Brandon. He had three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson of whom he was most proud. Predeceased by is parents Eli and Sarah (Paul) Emond. Mac retired from the automotive trade in 2000 which included R & S Auto and Mr. Gas. He then started a second career as a noon-hour school supervisor at St. Alexander School and School crossing guard at Fisher and Duke Street. Mac was one of nine children and has numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews. He was especially close to his nephew Kevin (Treena) Deehan and girls. Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 19, at 10:30 am at St. Brice's Anglican Church, 1225 Cassells Street with reception to follow.
