EDWARDS, Sidney Wellington 'Sid'

At North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. He was in his 94th year. Sid Edwards was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” (Kinzett) (1929-2011) and an infant son; Loved by his children Deborah, Jeffrey, and Janice (Colin); grandchildren Samantha (Mike), Tricia (Grant), Jessica, and Sidney; great-grandchildren Joshua, Forest, Chloe, and Jude; and his siblings Ron Edwards and Shirley Hassler.  He was predeceased by his siblings Marvin Edwards and Sylvia Briggs. A dedicated husband and father, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed the great outdoors on his ATV and snowmobile.  He was a proud Veteran and Flying Officer (J42720) of WWII.  The family would like to thank Dr. Harman, Jamie and Rob of NBRHC CCU for their exceptional care and compassion. Respecting Sid’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation at this time.  Interment and memorial will be held in Restoule at a later date.  If desired, donations to the Restoule Legion, Branch 639 (cheques only), are suggested.
