Samuel Domanicopic

With heavy hearts, his family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Sam at home on Monday March 22, 2021 at age 59. Beloved partner of Trina Milne and devoted father of Rachel Domanico (Dusty), Samantha Dubeau (Jesmond), and Gilles Boissonneault (Shanna). Proud Poppa of Addison Boissonneault and excited Poppa-to-be. Devoted to his family, Sam was the cherished son of Samuel Domanico Sr. (predeceased), Corrine (nee Stevens) Domanico, beloved brother to Linda Leggett (predeceased - survived by Ken Leggett and partner Kathy) and Greg Domanico (Tracy). Sam was a dedicated uncle, everyone’s favourite beer man and an outstanding friend to so many. Sam loved hockey and skiing and was able to do both until the very end. In the summer he could be found out on his motorcycle or relaxing at the trailer with a cold Labatt Blue in his hand. He has touched the hearts of so many with his radiant smile and his genuine, kind nature. To say he will be greatly missed would be an understatement. Family will receive friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday March 30, 2021 from 2 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Wednesday at 10 am. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. For all those who wish to extend a final goodbye, mourners are invited to form an Honour Guard as the funeral procession departs from the Pro Cathedral at 11am. The route will proceed along McIntyre St. West, left onto Plouffe St. right onto Main St. West, past THE BEER STORE to Nipissing St.  Bring a brilliant “Sammy Smile” and a wave to honour his final journey. (Due to Current Covid-19 Restrictions Attendance at a visitation, and at a Church is scheduled by appointment only as there are limits in place for attendees. Please call the funeral home to book your appointment time 705-472-8520). Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
