At the Mattawa Hospital, Vic passed away with family at his side on Friday, January 21st, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (née Duquette) for 66 years, at the age of 89.
Loving father of Gordy and his wife Gloria, Ken and his wife Joanne, David and his wife Celine, and Paul and his wife Laurelle. He will lovingly be remembered by his grandchildren, Jesse (Becky), Jenna (Andrew), Emma, Shana, Joshua (Leah), Nicholas (Chloe), and his great granddaughter Charlotte. Dearly loved brother of Audrey Doucette (Emery). Vic had many careers over his working life, notably with the Canadian Air Force, Dofasco, CPR, and Tembec. He worked hard so that he could retire to his piece of heaven on Sturgeon Lake, enjoying the cottage for the past 25 years. He also enjoyed spending time with working in the garden and on woodworking projects.
Respecting Vic's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Mattawa Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
