With great sorrow we announce the passing of Donald Dennis Desjardins at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. To rest now free of pain.
He was the son of the late Hector (2004) and Hilda (1991) Desjardins, and his brother Randall Scott Desjardins (1959). He is survived by his siblings’ Gene Desjardins (Karen 2011) of North Bay, Sandra Blundell (Terry 2009) of Grand Bend and Rebecca Mac Donald husband Don also of North Bay.
Donald worked for the ONR for many years. He also served as a member of the Eight Field Squadron Militia. Recently Donny became a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 445 of Callander, which was his dying wish. There will be no visitation as per Don’s wishes.
As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 445 “Poppy Fund” in Callander, the North Bay Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Martyn Funeral Home.
