Joey Davis
It is with broken hearts that our family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of our beautiful Joey on Friday, September 13,2019 in Missisauga at the tender age of 25. Joey was the beloved son of Karen (Shane) Lacourciere and Scott Davis (predeceased). Joey will be forever in the hearts of his sisters Kayla Davis (Tyler Lefebvre) and Shayna Lacourciere (predeceased 2014) as well as his brother Justin (Krystal) Stone. Joey was the cherished Grandson of Larry and Diane Davis of Port Loring, Rick and Dianne Lacourciere of Sturgeon Falls and Bernie and Noella Etmanski (both predeceased) of North Bay. Joey will be forever remembered by all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and by his many friends. Joey also leaves behind his loving girlfriend, Chantal Beaudoin from Missisauga.
Joey will be forever remembered by the love of his life, his son Keenan. Joey's proudest moment was the day he became a father. His relationship with his son was truly amazing. Keenan would describe his Dad as the strongest Superhero who ever lived. Joey's family and friends were the light of his life.
Joey was born in North Bay on June 14, 1994. He was a joy to be around, always laughing and happy. Joey obtained his Highschool diploma at West Ferris Secondary School where he was proud to be on the championship football team as a Trojan in 2010. After graduation, Joey pursued a career in the construction field, He was a hard worker and worked on some of the tallest skyscrapers in Toronto to the smallest bathroom renovation. He loved the hands-on work and new challenges each job brought him.
Joey had a love for the outdoors - he loved fishing and hunting, weekend camping trips with the boys AKA the "Boon Goons" and canoeing in the back lakes or just taking a leisurely walk in the bush. Joey was truly a gentle and kind soul, he believed in holding a door open for anybody or giving up his seat for someone else. He loved so deeply and was the kindest, funniest and most generous person anyone in his life had the pleasure of knowing.

We are inviting all family and friends to join us in celebrating Joey's life on Friday, September 20th from, 10am -3pm @ Martyn's funeral Home with a service to follow in the chapel.
