Suddenly at Leisureworld, North Bay, on Friday, December 5th, 2003. Bernie Daigneault, beloved husband of Virginia "Ginny" Starr, in his 69th year. Proud and loving father of Randy, Gord Daigneault (Jennifer) of Grimsby, Cathy Sutherland (Al) of Barrie, Robert Forgie (Claire) of Paris, Deborah Shank (Guy) of North Bay, Ted Forgie (Delores) of Surrey, British Columbia, Evelyn Houston (Jim) of North Bay, Nancy Gagne (Rene) of Sturgeon Falls and Steven Forgie of South Korea. He will be lovingly remembered by his 33 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Bernie worked for many years as a welder at the former Jarvis Clark Company. At his request cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the Lakeshore Missionary Church. Service time is unknown by press time.
