Peacefully, at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home, Trout Creek on October 3, 2003 in her 86th year. Beatrice (Robertson) was predeceased by her husband Edgar Currie and by her parents Florence (Bain) and William Robertson. She was the beloved mother of John Currie (Margaret), Toronto; Celia Frederick (late Lee), North Bay; Elaine Clapperton, Port Loring; Ken Currie (Carol), Chatsworth; Ron Currie (Carole), North Bay; Phyllis Knox (Alan), North Bay and was predeceased by her sons, Lawrence (Norma Currie, Loring) and Lloyd. She was grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 15. Beatrice was the dear sister of Margaret Barber (late Harold), Loring; Gordon Robertson (Edna), Loring; Stewart Robertson (Emma), Callander and Jean Stillar (late Isaac), Trout Creek. She was predeceased by her sister Agnes Humphrey and by her brother Archie Robertson. The Currie family will receive visitors at St. Andrew’s United Church, Port Loring on Sunday, October 5, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service to be held in the church on Monday, October 6, 2003 at 11 am with Reverend Bill Broughton officiating. Interment Port Loring Cemetery.
