June 3, 2004 in his 66th year - after a short illness. Loving husband of Jacqueline Courchesne. Dear father of Guy Courchesne (Laura) of Barrie, Lucie South (Chris), Denise Phillips (John), Monique Beaulieu (Roger), all of North Bay and Roseline St. Pierre (Roland) of Powassan. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sadly missed by friend Jeannine Courchesne and lifetime companion Tiffany. Also survived by two step-children Debbie Mellissis (George) of Whitby and Chris Simmons (Sharon) of Hillsburg. Dear brother of Georgiana, Agnes, Lionel, Thérèse, Jeanne D'Arc, Claude and Jean-Paul. Predeceased by his parents Télesphore and Marie-Anne Courchesne, his brothers Narcisse, Gérard, Roland, Rheal and sisters Agnes and Reina. Visitation at the Theoret Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday, June 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Robert Lavoie at the Notre-Dame de la Visitation in Lavigne on Monday, June 7 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
