The family announces with great sorrow the passing of their father, grandfather, great-grandfather,and great-great grandfather Sebastiano Cappadocia at Cassellholme for the Aged at the age of 94 years . The husband of the late Antonia (nee Falconi) who predeceased him seven years ago November 22, 2008. Predeceased by his parents Quirino and Ermelinda Cappadocia. Born in Pisterzo, Italy on January 21st, 1921. Immigrated to Canada on November 1950. Beloved father of Santa Cappadocia (Elfio), Marisa Pincivero (Frank), Julia Janveau (Ken) and Leo Cappadocia (Brenda).Sam will be very sadly missed by his grandchildren Mary Lou, Peter, Lisa (Matt), Chris (Karen), Teri-Lynn (Allister), Stephen (Jay), Greg (Jodi), Darren (Allison), Deanna (Brad), and David (Kirsten). Great-grandfather of Andrew, Joshua, Bianca, Victoria, Arwyn, Brooklyn and Weston. Great-great grandfather of Tyson, Benjamin, Evelyn and Bradley. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Survived by one sister Rosetta Cassi of Toronto. Sebastiano was a very hard worker and sometimes held down 2 jobs to support his family. He worked for the ONR and took great pride in all he did. Loved his family especially the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Was a connoisseur of food. He and Antonia loved to make homemade bread, pasta and sausages. His passions were gardening and making wine. Family, neighbours and friends were treated to his produce, wine and food. He loved his native Italy but was happy to come to Canada and often spoke about how fortunate he was to immigrate to this country where he was blessed with a better life. He lived a very simple life always humbled and always focusing on his family. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday November 24th 2015 from 2-4pm & 7-9 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on November 25th 2015 at 11 am. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow. Donations to the Diabetes Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
