BURGESS, Randy William

It is with great sadness that the Burgess Family announces the sudden passing of Randy on May 18th, 2022 in his 71st year. Randy was predeceased by his father William (1998), and his mothers Geraldine (1969) and Norma (2010). Randy was the beloved husband of 50 years to Linda, cherished father to Derek ( Dayna) and proud ‘Poppa’ to Emma and Mason. Randy will be forever missed and remembered by his four siblings: Linda (Ian Kittle), Brian Burgess (Rachel), Brenda (Peter Farrow) and David Burgess (Sarah). Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews will miss their Uncle Randy. A lifetime resident of North Bay, Randy was a long-time employee of Arnstein Equipment spending 48 plus years behind the parts counter before his retirement in 2018. He loved his job, his clients and was well respected in the industry. Randy was such a special person, one in a million. He was kind to the bone, such a calming presence and truly good for the soul to be around. The Burgess Family and this world have lost an amazing man! Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Randy’s life will be planned at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to the North Bay Humane Society in Randy’s memory.
