BRUNET, Richard

With family by his side Richard passed away at Waters Edge Care Community on Friday July 5th, 2019. Richard was the beloved husband of Connie Marion (nee Roy), he was 73 years old. Loving father of Jeff and his wife Paula of Callander and Jamie and his wife Heather of Astorville. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Tanner (Casey), Morgan and by his great grandchildren Ryleigh and Easton. Dear brother of Theresa, Simone and Claire (Frank). Predeceased by his parents Joe and Diane Brunet and by his siblings Edgar and Annette. He will be sadly missed by Connie's family and by his many nieces and nephews.
He was proud of all his family and cherished the time they had together. Richard was a salesman in North Bay for over 50 years, working for 23 of those years with North Bay Toyota. He was a talented storyteller as a song writer, musician and joke teller. A well-respected Bass player, Richard shared the stage with many other artists in and around North Bay. He spent a great deal of time enjoying the outdoor life that Northern Ontario has to offer, on land and on the water. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed supporting many teams.
A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion #445 in Callander, on Sunday July 14th from 1:00 - 5:00 PM. His family would like to thank the staff of Water's Edge for all the care they gave Richard. If desired, donations to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
