(1941-2017) After a long goodbye due to Alzheimer’s, Aimé is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father, reunited with his dad, Adelard, and mom, Lucienne (Labrecque) Brûlé and sisters Adrienne (Rick) Zarzosa, Antoinette (Jerry) Fluette, and brother André. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Denise (Thibeault) of 52 years and their daughter Anne. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters Ange-Aimée (deceased Gerry) Nault, Vic (Jeannine) Brûlé, Rémi (Sharon) Brûlé, Léona (deceased Gilles) Langlois, Mignonne (deceased Lionel) Serran and sister-in-law Simone. His many nieces and nephews cherish the many good memories of learning how to drive, boxes of cracker jacks and his sense of humour and adventure. Aimé was a loving and generous husband, father, uncle and friend and a neighbour to all. You could always count on Aimé to be there, ready to help and to lend a hand. His many talents included an infallible sense of direction, an ability to fix anything, and a way with children. He could pack a house into a van and a pound of meaning into the word ‘hmph’. With his sense of adventure, he was always good for another thousand miles and now he is off to meet God with a ‘Well, Let’s Go!’ Thank you to the staff of Cassellholme for their care during this 3-year journey and to Hillside for the arrangements. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday March 31st at Paroisse St Vincent de Paul at 11am. Memorial donations may be made to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES. Online condolences can be made at www.hillsidefuneral.ca
