BRADLEY, Lillian Irene

The funeral service for the late Lillian Irene Bradley (nee Peever) was conducted by Reverend Larry Broughton on Thursday, October 30, 2003, at Grace Pentecostal Church in Powassan. Reverend Tom Quinn, Regional Director for Northwestern Ontario brought greetings from the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Pianist for the service was Mrs. Cathy Peever. Reverend Len Smith of Brandon, Manitoba, “adopted” son of Lillian and Harold, opened the service in prayer. Granddaughter Heidi Campbell read the Scripture. Lillian’s children Carol Stover, Jim Bradley and Janet Fathers, and brother Archie Peever sang a quartet, “I’d Rather Have Jesus,” a favourite of Lillian’s and granddaughter Cindy Stover sang a solo, “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow”. Brother Archie Peever and sister Thelma James, and son-in-law Charley Stover presented Lillian’s eulogy. Daughters Carol Stover and Janet Fathers shared, “Reflections of a Mother’s Heart,” from Lillian’s journal. Tributes were given by Reverend Bryan Warnar of Corner Gospel Church, Restoule, Reverend Melvin Powers of Calvery Pentecostal Temple and Reverend Dale Broadworth on behalf of the Canadian Bible Society. Casket bearers were brothers Lloyd and Archie Peever, brothers-in-law Art James and Bob Newby, and sons-in-law Charley Stover and Peter Fathers. An Honour Guard was formed by grandchildren; Matthew, Sheldon, Joel, Bobby, Andrew and Jesse Bradley, Cindy Stover, Heidi Campbell, and Simon and Daniel Fathers. Interment was conducted at Powassan Union Cemetery. Lillian has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and her beloved husband, Harold. Following the service, a much appreciated luncheon was provided by members of Grace Pentecostal Church. A special thank you to Reverend Larry Broughton and to all who showed expressions of sympathy.
