BOULANGER, Jean-Claude Eugene

Peacefully with members of his family by his side at the Mattawa Hospital on Sunday, October 29th, 2017. Jean-Claude was the beloved husband of Christiane (nee Gingras), he was 68 years old. Loving father of Jean- Guy of North Bay, Alain and Geisha of Winnipeg and Daniel and his wife Tammy of Mattawa. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Eric, Chantal, Nathalie,Mathew and Alecxia. Dearly loved brother of Claire of North Bay, Gerard & his wife Claudette of Sudbury and Monique & her husband Paul of Worthington, Ontario. Jean-Claude drove truck for a few companies in the Mattawa area for over 38 years, the last 25 years he worked with Gingras Corriveau until he retired at age of 60. He grew up on the farm in Papineau-Cameron Township, learning the work ethic that carried him throughout his life. He served on the Council in Papineau-Cameron for over 30 years, being elected Deputy Mayor several times. Visitation will be held at the Martyn & Sloan "Mattawa Chapel" on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9:00 P.M and Saturday from 10:00am until 10:45am . A Memorial Mass in the Presences of Ashes will be held at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 4th at 11am. Interment of ashes will follow at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Mattawa Hospital or the Algonquin Nursing Home would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
