On October 19, 2019, in her 101st year, our matriarch, loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, was called home.   Soar with the angels sweet beautiful Nancy May Boucher (Avery).  She was born on May 5, 1919 to Angus and Lucy Avery in Larry’s River, NS.  She started her career in the insurance business and retired from the Halifax Dockyards.  “Nan” had many special friends who were like family.  She was always found holding court in the gazebo at the campground or the common room at home.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Boucher.  She is survived by her only son Stewart (Sandra) Avery, granddaughter, Bonnie (Bill) Dobson and grandson Brian (Maryanne) Avery, great grandsons Justin (Jessica) Dobson and Micheal Avery, great granddaughter, Jaimee (Corey) Dobson and great great grandsons, Lucas and “JayJay”.  Yes five generations!!  As well as several special nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She was predeceased by both of her parents, brothers Willy, Joe, and Peter and sisters Mary Alice and Josephine. There will be no funeral service at this time. We will be bringing her home to Larry’s River in Nova Scotia at a later date for burial.
