(April 2 1956- December 2 2018) - It is with great sadness that the family of Marcel announce his passing after a short battle with cancer at Waters Edge Care Community at the age of 62. Born in Bonfield Ontario to Basil and Cecile Boucher (predeceased) Marcel was the proud father to Dana (Kyle) Willard and beloved grandfather to Braelyn, the apple of his eye. He is survived by siblings Richard (Margret) Boucher and Lorraine (Ron) Ouellette and predeceased by siblings Michael, Teresa and Jerry Boucher as well as his long time common law partner Mary Perrault.
Marcel dedicated all his time to volunteering within the North Bay community including La Societe De St. Vincent de Paul as well as the North Bay Heritage Railway and Carousel. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well as other children Nicole (Richard) Doucette and Patrick Boucher. The family would like to give many thanks to the staff at Waters Edge Community Care as well as the Doctors and nurses at North Bay Regional Health Centre for their amazing care and compassion during this difficult time.
