A Life Long Resident of Mattawa
Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home, on Tuesday November 21st, 2017. Willy was the beloved husband of Leonie (nee Pellerin), he was 92 years old. Loving father of Evelyn Latour and her husband Glen. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Donna (Chris), Craig (Wanda), Brandon and by his great grandchildren Donovan, Ashley and Rowan. He will be sadly missed by his sister Laurence Novack and predeceased by his brother George and parents Hector & Violet. Willy was a well known and respected farmer and horse trader in Mattawa. For many years he provided sleigh rides to many, pulled by his team of horses. Respecting Willy’s wishes his family will hold a Private Family Service at a later date. Cremation will be held at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Algonquin Nursing Home would be appreciated by his family. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel”.
