BELANGER, Ronald

Of Mattawa passed away peacefully at the Mattawa General Hospital on Tuesday October 14, 2003 in his 77th year. He is survived by his beloved wife the former Rita Bertrand of Mattawa, his son Robert and his wife Nicole of North Bay. Sadly missed by his grandchildren; Richard, Cynthia (Glanz), Terri-Ann, and great-grandson Travis. Also survived by his sisters-in-law; Enide Bertrand of Mattawa and Mary English of Renfrew, brother-in-law Rolly Chaloux of Sudbury and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father and mother Albert and Anna Belanger, his sister Lillian and brothers Harry, Ernest, Armand, and Raymond. Rolly spent 43 years of his life as an Electrical Operator and Supervisor with the Hurdman Dam in Mattawa. Rolly and Rita were married for 55 years. Rolly was a caring husband, father and friend. He will be sorely missed. Friends and relatives may call at the T.L. Smith Funeral Home, Mattawa, today, October 16th, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Church, Mattawa of Friday October 17th, 2003 at 11 am. Interment in the family plot of the parish cemetery. Donations to the St. Anne’s Memorial Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
