Mr. Lloyd Beech died peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness with pneumonia at North Bay General Hospital on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 in his 63rd year. Lloyd Beech was the beloved husband of Olive Evelyn (Storie). He was the loving father of Glenn Beech of Toronto and Mary-Lynn Poulin (Normand) of Po-wassan, and grandfather of Ashley Poulin also of Powassan. Lloyd was the dear brother of Belle Book of Smithville and Stella Rowlandson of Edmonton and was predeceased by his brothers Kelso "Kelly", Ross and Harvey Beech. Lloyd retired in 1982 after over 30 years with the MTO. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, (705-724-2024) Saturday, January 17th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Royal Canadian Legion Branch 453 Veteran's Tribute Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Paul Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, January 18th at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Rick Hobbs officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Cremation to follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. ___
