Bastien, Julia (nee Giroux)

Julia Bastien (nee Giroux) passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, February 5, 2016 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of Julien Tancrede. Predeceased by husbands Jean Bastien, and Leo Allaire. Dearly loved mother of Jo-Anne Kirkey (Richard) of Bonfield, Jean-Paul Bastien (Colette Lafond) of Sturgeon Falls, Monique Quinton (John) of New Liskeard, and Marc Bastien (Shelagh Stuart) of West Bank BC. Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Flora (George), David (Claudette), Gérard (Nicole), Louise (Jules deceased), Daniel (Rollande), Raymonde (Conrad), Jeannine (Roger deceased), Gérald (Vivianne), Gabriel (Rex), Réginald (Donna) and Colette (Raymond). Predeceased by her parents Régina and John Giroux, brothers Michel Giroux, André Giroux, Rhéal Giroux and sisters Marie Anne Landry, Rhéa Giroux, Rose Anna Bilodeau, Bernadette Lebel, and Marguerite Champagne. Family will receive friends at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday February 12, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Paroisse St- Vincent-De-Paul on Saturday February 13th at 11:00am.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation, or the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
