(1947-2019) - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing in Sturgeon Falls on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 12th, 2019 at the age of 71 years. Son of Laurenza (née Henri) and the late Joseph Arcand. Dear brother of Rachel Séguin-Lauzon (late Raymond Séguin and late Alfred Lauzon), Raymond Arcand (Yvonne), Jeannine Babineau (Marcel), Michel Arcand (Jean), Joseph Jr. Arcand, Claude Arcand, and Paul Arcand. Predeceased by his brother Roger Arcand. Pierre (Karate Pete) was a well-known business man. A hard worker, Pierre was a kind and generous man. He operated Modern Tire in Sturgeon Falls, and he was also a distributor for Morinda (Tahitian Noni) and Enagic (Kagen Water). Pierre will be missed by his nephews and nieces. Pierre cherished the late Suzanne, her children and her grand-children.
Pierre’s family will receive relatives and friends at Sacré-Coeur Church in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, June the 8th, 2019, at 10 a.m. followed by a mass at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements in care of Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
