With his daughters by his side, Bob Adams died peacefully, at Eastholme, Powassan, on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

He was 88 years old. Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lois (Odd) (1932-2017). He was the much-loved father of Valerie Morgan (Phil Jarvie) of Restoule, Deborah Erickson (Lee) of Bedford, Nova Scotia and Heather Doyle (Mike Townley) of Restoule; Grandfather of Kaitlyn, Robert, Robyn, Jayne, Jocelyn, Joseph, Shawn and great-grandfather of Madeline, Benjamin, Edward and Claire. He was predeceased by his parents Rose Lillian (Crocker) and Robert Milan Adams. Bob was very close to the Adams and Odd clans… he was the dear brother of the late Gord Adams, Florence Dearing, Roy Adams, the late Fred Adams, David Adams, George Adams, John Adams, Ernie Adams and Kathy Barbeau; and in-laws Patrick, Norma, Jean & Michelle.

He will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bob’s career spanned 50 years with A&P Food Stores, beginning as a stock boy in Parry Sound and concluding as District Manager in Orillia. Bob and Lois retired to their home on the lake in Restoule where they enjoyed many healthy and active years. They enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends and being very involved in the Anglican Church and the Restoule community. Bob will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful, and funny man. He loved beautiful singing, fiddle and guitar music, sports and the news. He cared deeply for his family and loved watching his children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren grow. Bob was an active member of the Restoule Legion and Lions Club, the Powassan Masonic Lodge and the Rorab Shrine Club.

Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will take place at Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Saturday, January 30 at 11:00 am. The service will be available via ZOOM - the link is posted below. The Adams family would like thank the staff of Eastholme for their extraordinary, compassionate care.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Shriner’s Hospital Canada, the Parkinson Society or Eastholme Residents Fund would be appreciated.
