SHERBROOKE, Que. — Joshua Roy scored twice and added an assist as the Sherbrooke Phoenix defeated the visiting Victoriaville Tigres 7-1 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Friday.

Israel Mianscum, Christophe Rondeau, Ethan Gauthier, Cole Huckins and Hugo Primeau also scored for the Western Conference-leading Phoenix, who led 2-0 after the first period and 7-0 heading into the third. Christophe Rondeau and David Spacek chipped in with two assists each.

Phoenix netminder Olivier Adam kicked out 25 of 26 shots.

Tommy Cormier scored for the Tigres, who were outshot 38-26.

Tigres netminder Gabriel D'Aigle stopped 31 of 38 shots.

HALIFAX, N.S. — Angelo Fullerton scored at 10:48 of the third period to snap a 1-1 deadlock and lead the visiting Cape Breton Eagles to a 2-1 victory over the Halifax Mooseheads.

Ivan Ivan also scored for the Eagles (30-33-3-1), who were outshot 31-23.

Markus Vidicek scored for the Mooseheads (49-11-4-3).

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Thomas Desruisseaux's scored goal of the game, scored 38 seconds in overtime, allowed the visiting Chicoutimi Sagueneens to defeat the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 4-3.

Romain Rodzinski and Andrei Loshko also scored for the Sagueneens (33-30-3-1), who outshot the Drakkar 36-33.

Felix Gagnon scored twice for the Drakar (29-32-4-2), while Marshall Lessard netted a single.

BATHURST, N.B. — Vincent Labelle had a goal and assist as the visiting Moncton Wildcats defeated the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 5-2.

Yoan Loshing, Alexis Daniel, Thomas Auger and Alex Mercier also scored for the Wildcats (34-29-2-2), who outshot the Titan 43-18.

Ty Higgins and Markas Samenas scored power-play goals for the Titan (19-40-5-3).

The teams were tied 2-2 after the first period and the Wildcats led 5-2 after 40 minutes.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Jeremie Biakabutuka scored at 3:55 of overtime as the Charlottetown Islanders edged the visiting Saint John Sea Dogs 4-3.

Lucas Romeo, Kiefer Lyons and Peter Repcik also scored for the Islanders (26-32-6-3), who outshot the Sea Dogs 38-37.

Peter Reynolds, Alex Drover and Danny Akkouche scored for the Sea Dogs (24-37-5-1), who led 2-0 after the second period.

GATINEAU, Que. — Alexis Gendron scored twice, Riley Kidney added three assists and the Gatineau Olympiques torched the visiting Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 6-1.

Tristan Luneau, Marcel Marcel, Olivier Nadeau and Cole Cormier also scored for the Olympiques, who led 3-0 after the first period and 5-1 heading into the third.

Thomas Paquet scored for the Armada, who were outshot 44-27.

The Olympiques went 2-for-3 on the power play, while the Armada were 0-for-3.

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — Jeremy Lapointe scored three goals and Justin Cote added a goal and two assists as the Drummondville Voltigeurs zapped the visiting Shawinigan Cataractes 5-1.

Xavier Fortin also scored for the Voltigeurs (29-33-4-1), who were outshot 38-21, but led 3-1 after the first period. Mikael Diotte chipped in with two assists.
