DENVER — Corey Perry scored twice, including the go-ahead goal with 56.9 seconds remaining, and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Colorado Avalanche 5-3 on Friday night.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — With Columbus slipping into a sudden offensive malaise in the second period, Sergei Bobrovsky kept the Blue Jackets in the game and in the race for a playoff spot.

TORONTO — Frederik Andersen has bailed the Maple Leafs out plenty since arriving in Toronto. His teammates returned the favour on Friday night.

DETROIT — The Detroit Red Wings recalled defenceman Brian Lashoff from Grand Rapids of the AHL. The Red Wings announced the move Friday night, saying Lashoff was being recalled under emergency conditions.
