YMCA Child Care, YMCA Summer Day Camp and YMCA Health, Fitness & Aquatics will open based on the recent announcements from federal and provincial governments last week..
Areas that will be gradually opening include YMCA Child Care and YMCA Summer Club in North Bay and Parry Sound on Monday, June 29th.
"The YMCA continues to plan for YMCA Summer Day Camp and are asking families and participants to fill out a survey that will provide a better understanding of how the YMCA could proceed with camp this year. This feedback will shape the delivery and program options so that the best experience is provided while maintaining new safety procedures," says a news release.
The YMCA National Reactivation Committee recommends that aquatic facilities open last in the sequence of reopening the YMCA and as such, the aquatics facilities in North Bay will remain closed at this time.
