(North Bay, ON) - On Friday, March 27th, the YMCA of North Bay will reveal its Donor Recognition Wall, celebrating their Strong Kids donors. Festivities kick off at 10:00am and will include greetings from special guests including Mayor Al McDonald and YMCA of North Bay CEO Kim Kanmacher.
"I am honoured to pay tribute our donors," said Kim Kanmacher. "As we look back on the past year, we recognize the generous contributions from the community, helping ensure that children and families in North Bay are given the opportunity to participate in a YMCA experience."
About the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign
The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign exists to provide financial assistance to families in need, giving them access to YMCA programs and services regardless of financial circumstance. In 2014, the YMCA raised $135,000 to support Strong Kids, providing financial assistance to more than 1,900 children and families in North Bay and surrounding communities.
