It wasn't much, just a dusting really, but it marked a turning point in the weather as warm October temperatures returned to normal as November dawned.
We'll see mostly rain the rest of this week, but of note the overnight temperature Friday will drop to minus 7, with a high Saturday of just plus 1.
Consider us lucky. In 1962 there was 18 cm of snow on the ground on Nov. 1.
The average temperature for this time of year is plus 6.
