Police have arrested a woman who refused to leave another person's driveway and charged her with impaired.
On December 29, 2020, Powassan OPP officers responded to an unwanted person in Nipissing Township where a person in a vehicle refused to leave.
Officers spoke with the driver and determined that she had consumed alcohol. She was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the North Bay Detachment for further testing.
Angela Glover 40, of Callander, is charged with:
- Operation while impaired
- Resist peace officer
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Having care or control of a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor
The vehicle was impounded for seven days and her license was suspended for 90 days. Glover was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on January 19, 2021.
