OPP say they caught a teenager for speeding twice...in the same hour!

Yesterday afternoon OPP responded to a traffic complaint of a motorist passing unsafely and travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 69 in French River.

Police clocked the vehicle travelling at more than 50 kilometers over the speed limit.

As a result, Alexis Dunning, 18, from Wellington County, Ontario was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle - Excessive Speed.

Dunning is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on February 25. The vehicle she was operating was impounded for seven days and her driver's licence was suspended for seven days.

Further investigation revealed that she doesn't learn lessons easily. Dunning was charged for speeding less than an hour earlier in the District of Parry Sound.
