Yesterday North Bay Regional Health Centre Volunteers Dave Selwood and his granddaughter Lauren McLaren were recognized for volunteering 1,000 hours and 100 hours (respectively).
The pair were two of 51 volunteers recognized at the Health Centre today for reaching long-service milestones.
The celebration was part of the Health Centre’s annual National Volunteer Week celebrations, where the organization takes time to thank the more than 300 volunteers that generously donate their time and energy to support the hospital community in over 40 programs.
National Volunteer Week runs from April 23- 29.
