Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) North Bay will be celebrating VON Week from May 19-25.
VON has been pioneering care at home for over 120 years and this year’s theme, VONProud!, is a nod to VON’s proud history and the staff, volunteers and supporters who have and continue to play a role in it.
As the demand for home and community care continues to grow in Canada, the need for VON has never been greater according to a news release.
During VON Week, VON staff, volunteers and supporters will be honoured and celebrated for their important contributions to VON’s delivery of home and community care, and the impact it has on our families, neighbours, and friends.
VON North Bay will be hosting a celebration on May 22 at North Bay Museum from 11 to 2. to commemorate VON Week.
VON North Bay has been delivering services to the residents of North Bay since 1898.
