Two events in Nipissing get Celebrate Ontario funding

Ontario is spending over $13 million in over 250 festivals and events in communities across the province

A pair of local events and one in Verner are receiving support through the Celebrate Ontario program:

Celebrate Ontario supports festivals and events of all sizes across the province.

  • $49,500 for Smoke 'N' Spurs Festival in Powassan Labour Day weekend
  • $20,000 for Mattawa Voyageur Days in July

As well,  the International Plowing Match & Rural Expo in Verner in September is receiving $250,000.

Ontario is spending over $13 million in over 250 festivals and events in communities across the province, plus another $4 million in additional funding for Blockbuster events.
