Bit of an odd accident to report.
North Bay police officers responded to an accident on Saturday May 16 at 9 p.m. at the intersection of Judge and Lakeshore.
A southbound pickup truck in the right-hand lane swerved to the right and struck a light pole causing it to topple to the ground. The pole fell onto the roadway, striking a second vehicle.
The driver of that vehicle was injured requiring medical attention.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined say the police.
The Public Works Department assisted in clearing the scene.
