The Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU) is planning a trivia night to raise money for cystic fibrosis.
The event will take place on Thursday, August 18 at 7 p.m. in the NUSU Student Centre (221 College Drive).
The registration fee is $20 per person and includes two slices of pizza and a can of pop. The fee can be paid at the door by Visa, MasterCard, debit or cash. Teams of up to eight people can be created and prizes will be given out. Alcohol will be available for purchase.
"North Bay has always been such a great support in raising money for those living with cystic fibrosis and we are excited to be hosting this trivia night," said Harikesh Panchal, NUSU VP Advocacy & Awareness.
Annually, students adorn bright yellow shirts and raise money at grocery stores and with car washes for cystic fibrosis. This year's Shinerama will take place on Saturday, September 3rd at numerous locations around North Bay.
