Learn about the latest Discovery Routes' cycling and trail initiatives. The agenda for the evening is as follows: 5:00pm Soup's On! Drop in and mingle with like-minded trail enthusiasts over a hearty bowl of soup ($5). Cycle Works will be on hand extolling the virtues of winter riding.... yes, BIKE riding! 6:00pm
Discovery Routes Annual General Meeting Trail partners across the region share their activities over the past year 7:00pm Launch of Cycling Advocates of Nipissing 7:10pm Bicycle: The Film (by donation) A British documentary that asks the question why is cycling and the bicycle back in fashion? The film tells the story of cycling in the land that invented the modern bicycle, it's birth, decline and rebirth from Victorian origins to today. The film weaves bicycle design, sport and transport through the retelling of iconic stories and interviews (http://bicyclethefilm.com).
