During the month of February 2018 the West Parry Sound Detachment of the OPP responded to 566 calls for service which included the following:
- 35 motor vehicle collisions,
- One fatality,
- five impaired by alcohol driving charges,
- one impaired by drug driving charges,
- two careless driving charges,
- 14 violence-related calls
- 33 property related calls and
- Four drugs related calls
Members of the Parry Sound and Still River OPP officers patrol the highways to ensure road safety and conduct traffic enforcement throughout the West Parry Sound Detachments' area. Officers have conducted 1,222 hours of patrol which includes impaired related patrol and traffic enforcement patrol.
