City police are investigating reports of vehicles being entered in the Thibeault Terrace and Lakeshore Drive areas of the city.
Loose change and other items were taken from unlocked vehicles.
"We would like to remind everyone of the importance of ensuring that your vehicle is locked and that you should never leave purses, wallets or valuable items in plain view," says Noel Coulas, Staff Sergeant. "Please do not hesitate to call police should you observe activities that look suspicious."
