A sharp-eyed cop made an arrest Friday after recognizing a woman walking down the street in Sturgeon Falls.
On August 9, at 11:20 a.m., West Nipissing OPP officers were on patrol on John Street.
They saw a pedestrian who they recognized to be wanted by the police. A warrant was confirmed and the woman was arrested.
During the investigation, police seized a quantity of drugs suspected to be Hydromorphone.
Jessica Lafleur, 28, from Sturgeon Falls is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance - Opioid.
Lafleur is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sturgeon Falls on October 3.
