Here's a picture we've been meaning to use. but we got busy and it fell through the cracks of the BayToday newsroom....maybe a little too much Christmas cheer.
It's a picture of Sindy Deschamps of sunny Sundridge and her Christmas turkey...oops...bad planning here but we're sure it was delicious.
It was sent to us by her sister Mindy. She says "23 lbs lol won't fit in any roast pan."
Interestingly, roast turkey is the most popular Christmas dinner.
Traditionally it features turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and vegetables such as carrots, turnip, or parsnips.
Some prefer other types of poultry, roast beef, or ham.
