I am writing to tell you about my Partner David Cogan.

He worked in Sundridge as a Century 21 agent for the past 17 years.

On March 24 Dave went missing. He suffers from Fugue state and may have temporarily forgotten his identity. Five days later Dave had a horrible transportation accident at a subway station and is now in Sunnybrook Hospital with extensive injuries.

Dave Has suffered a major spinal cord injury as a result.

We have had a lot of support and people asking how they can help. We are so grateful for all the help and the caring word. Dave is improving every day and things have changed. There is hope for a new beginning.

At present we are still at Sunnybrook but hoping to be transferred to a rehab center in Toronto for extensive physiotherapy. Dave is a fighter and he will be on the golf course again, you watch.

We want to thank everyone for their good wishes and outpouring of support. Without the constant support, it would have been hard to do what we are doing. A small community with a big heart is what I am saying right now. I have neighbors that are watching my dog and taking meals to my son who lives at home. Shout out to my great neighbours.

There is a Trust account set up at Kawartha Credit in South River in Dave Cogan's name to support the family and also a go fund account https://www.gofundme.com/david-cogan-family-help-fund

Thank you all for your hearts of Gold. Almaguin may be small but we are a group that always helps.

On behalf of the Cogan family we want to say thank you.
