The Nipissing Parry-Sound Catholic District School Board Summer Challenge theatre is pleased to present its 2018 production, Chicago – High School Edition.

Performance dates will be July 19 -21 at 7 p.m. in the Bishop Carter Auditorium at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall.

Tickets are $10 at the door, or in advance at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall main office or Creative Learning.

“The cast and crew have been working really hard to bring together a performance that is truly something special,” says Director Joshua Pride. “We’ve got a really talented group who add depth and soul to this high-energy musical,” he adds.

The performance is a re-imaged version of the well-loved Broadway classic about betrayal, fame, and fortune. A full band will accompany the on-stage performance, complete with vocals, choreography, and acting.

Summer Challenge is an enrichment Arts course offered through the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board’s summer school program. This program provides youth ages 12-18 the opportunity to develop acting, singing, dancing, and production skills while earning credits towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
