Yesterday at approximately 1 p.m., officers from Powassan OPP were conducting radar patrol on Highway 11 in the Municipality of Powassan.
Officers stopped a northbound vehicle that had been travelling at over 60 km/h above the posted speed limit.
The driver, Jemima Quansah, 22, of Mississauga, Ontario, was with "Race a Motor Vehicle."
The vehicle was impounded for seven days and the driver's licence was suspended for seven days.
She was released on a Part III Summons to appear in Provincial Offences Court on March, 16, in North Bay.
