On March 27, at approximately 11:42 a.m., the OPP Snow Vehicle, All Terrain Vehicle, Vessel Enforcement/Education (S.A.V.E.) Team came across a stolen snowmobile in West Nipissing.
The officers were on snowmobile patrol on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs D Trail near Highway 805 north of River Valley.
The stolen snowmobile, a 2005 black Polaris Touring had been abandoned. The snowmobile was returned to the registered owner.
