SOUTH RIVER DRIVER CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
(SOUTH RIVER, ON) On Sunday March 22, 2015 the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was patrolling the Village of South River when they conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, police discovered the driver was a suspended driver. Further investigation revealed that the driver, Sarah CARNEVALE 31 of Lount Township was in possession of a controlled substance, morphine and was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The accused was released form police custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 23, 2015 in Sundridge, Ontario.
