Sidewalk accessibility improvements

The City of North Bay is advising the public that work to install tactile indicators at signalized intersections on McKeown Avenue at Champlain Street and at the A&W entrance to the McKeown Commons plaza will be taking place Thursday and Friday, starting at 7 a.m.

Tactile indicator tiles provide a distinctive surface pattern which are used to alert visually impaired pedestrians as they near a street crossing.
