Shatter, marijuana, methamphetamine pills, and cocaine seized in vehicle stop

Shortly after midnight on July 31, Temiskaming OPP officers stopped a vehicle in Englehart and say that the two occupants were in possession of suspected controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking.

The officers seized a quantity of shatter, marihuana, methamphetamine pills, and cocaine. 

Two Latchford men, Bryhton Chesworth, 21 and Brayton Evans, 20, are arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking- under three kilograms,
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - other drugs, 
  • Possession of a schedule I substance - cocaine, and
  • Possession of a schedule I substance - other drugs, 

Both were released by way of Promise to Appear and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 28, in Haileybury.
