Search warrant reveals array of drugs

The estimated street value of the seized drugs is over $77 000
cannabis marijuana 2016

On August 1, East Algoma OPP officers, the East Algoma OPP Crime Unit and the East Algoma OPP Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a house in Elliot Lake.

During the search police located and seized:

  • over $2,500 in cash,
  • a significant amount of suspected cannabis marijuana bud,
  • suspected Oxycodone pills,
  • a jar of suspected Hash oil,
  • four bottles of Methadone,
  • suspected Shatter,
  • suspected THC Gummicons,
  • other drug paraphernalia.

The estimated street value of the seized drugs is over $77 000. 

As a result of the investigation, Bradley Grier, 29,, from Elliot Lake was charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid (two counts), 
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Over 3 kg, 
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Under 3 kg (three counts), and
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000,
