On August 1, East Algoma OPP officers, the East Algoma OPP Crime Unit and the East Algoma OPP Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a house in Elliot Lake.
During the search police located and seized:
- over $2,500 in cash,
- a significant amount of suspected cannabis marijuana bud,
- suspected Oxycodone pills,
- a jar of suspected Hash oil,
- four bottles of Methadone,
- suspected Shatter,
- suspected THC Gummicons,
- other drug paraphernalia.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs is over $77 000.
As a result of the investigation, Bradley Grier, 29,, from Elliot Lake was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid (two counts),
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Over 3 kg,
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Under 3 kg (three counts), and
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000,
