Nipissing University students to volunteer in Saturday’s clean-up initiative in Thibeault Terrace neighbourhood

The North Bay Police Service Environment Committee’s annual Autumn Litter Clean-up will take place on Saturday September 27th from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Thibeault Terrace neighbourhood of North Bay.

Nipissing University students, who will be volunteering their time towards this initiative, are currently distributing pamphlets in the area to encourage residents to also contribute gently-used clothing to the Salvation Army.

Public Welcome
Members of the public who want to help in the clean-up are asked to meet outside the Lucky 13 store at 555 McKeown Avenue.

Constable Doug MacIntosh will be there at 3 p.m. with a cruiser and clean-up equipment.
