Members of #104 “Brilliant” Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps will be hosting an open house on Saturday, August 24 from 9 to 5 at the Fort Chippewa Barracks.

The barracks are located at 540 Chippewa St across from Chippewa High school.

The day is aimed at youth aged 12 – 18 years who are interested in learning more about the cadet program and the numerous activities undertaken by the corps.

The Corps meets every Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. starting in early September and ending in late June. The program is free to join and is open to boys and girls.

The aim of the Cadet program is to develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership; promote physical fitness, and stimulate the interest of youth in the sea, land and air activities of the Canadian Forces.
